my method

In therapy, I use an integrative approach, combining various main therapeutic methods to suit your needs: crisis and trauma therapy, somatic and sensorimotor therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectic behavioral therapy. Beyond talking therapy, I often use creative methods as part of the process. I work from a wholistic and a Christian worldview. 

I will meet you as you are, without hurry, with warmth and acceptance. In a safe therapeutic alliance, you can discover deep internal longings, gain clarity and build emotional resilience. You become restored and grow stronger. Your experiences can turn into your resources!

It is of utmost importance to find and to strengthen your resources, such as support-systems, survival-methods and self-care techniques – and to utilize them through the process. Handling negatively influencing issues from the past is balanced in the present moment with your resources. 

The therapy process, the number and frequency of the meetings, and the methods utilized are agreed upon together, according to your needs and our calendars. Sometimes a few meetings are enough to open some knots, while other times a longer process is necessary. It depends on various things, such as your current stressors, past traumas, resources and the goals of the therapy.

As a therapist my goals are to support your psychological growth and development, to guide you in becoming more aware, to walk alongside you, listen, and to increase your ability to find solutions to the challenges of your life.
